Smoke alarm 10Y29

Kidde 10Y29 optical smoke detector features a factory-installed, non-replaceable lithium battery that provides 10 years of operation without the need for battery replacement . Equipped with a high-quality optical sensor and an advanced contamination compensation algorithm, it automatically adjusts the alarm threshold based on the level of contamination in the measuring chamber. This ensures stable operation and reduces the risk of false alarms.

If smoke is detected, the detector triggers an 85 dB audible alarm and a visual LED indicator. It features a TEST & HUSH™ button to check the device's operation and temporarily silence an accidentally triggered alarm, for example, while cooking. A low-volume test function increases the convenience of regular detector testing.

10-year service life begins when the power is first activated after the detector is placed in the mounting bracket, not from the production date. Thirty days before the end of its service life, the device automatically reminds you to replace it. Additionally, it has a lock to prevent removal by children or unauthorized persons.

Kidde 10Y29 meets the requirements of the PN-EN 14604:2006+AC:2009 (EN 14604:2005+AC:2008) standard, which was confirmed by the independent notified body BSI Group The Netherlands BV. Furthermore, it has additional VdS certification and the Q quality mark , confirming that it meets the increased requirements for quality, durability and operational reliability.

Recommended installation locations: living room, dining room, bedroom, hallway, boiler room, basement, and near kitchens and bathrooms, maintaining the distances specified in the instructions. The detector will also work well in high rooms where access to the device may be difficult.
