I

K10SCO is a dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector equipped with a voice alarm and two independent sensors. Optical is responsible for detecting fire alarms, while electrochemical is responsible for detecting carbon monoxide (CO).

If a fire is detected and/or the permissible concentration of carbon monoxide is exceeded, an 85dB acoustic alarm is triggered, an optical alarm (red LED ) and a voice notification is emitted (in English) informing about the type of detected threat.

The Test/Reset button allows you to check and operate the sensor. The device's memory stores information about detecting a dangerous concentration of CO or a fire hazard. Thanks to this, the user can check whether there has been any carbon monoxide emission during absence in the room.

K10SCO can be mounted both on the ceiling and on the wall. It is powered by 2 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. This solution allows the sensor to be installed in the optimal place in the room and provides protection also in the event of a power failure in the network. The built-in automatic health check system constantly monitors, among other things, condition of sensors and internal circuits. If a fault is detected, the signaling corresponding to the fault is activated.

K10SCO is a device that meets both the PN-EN14604:2006P (EN14604:2005) standard for home smoke detectors and the EN50291-1 standard :2018 for home carbon monoxide detectors. Fulfillment of the above standards has been confirmed by an independent, notified research unit TÜV Rheinland. The device is covered by a 10-year warranty. Also after 10 years from power activation, it will inform you that the device needs to be replaced.

Recommended installation locations: near the kitchen, in the living room, living room, dining room, bedroom, basement, in the attic and places where electrical devices that can be a source of fire and devices that are a potential source of fire are used carbon monoxide e.g. fireplace, electric or gas space heaters, etc.
